What is Colloidal Silver?

Colloidal silver is a liquid solution of silver. It is made from silver ionizing in water. The water holds the particles and you can apply them to skin, surfaces, or take internally as a medicine if your doctor thinks its right for you. Colloidal silver is a disinfectant, antibacterial, and antiviral agent. Silver is often used on burns or wounds that won;t heal or heal slowly to speed up the process of healing.

Uses of Colloidal Silver

  • Cleaning surfaces
  • Deodorizing surfaces or the air
  • Treating viruses or bacterial issues
  • Wound cleaning and treatment

Where To Get Colloidal Silver

Colloidal silver can be purchased in a variety of places. The Silver Edge has great products as do many other companies online today. Amazon, eBay and more have these products for sale. You may also be able to find colloidal silver in your local health food store too. If you can't get it in your area you can make it as well.

Making Colloidal Silver

When making colloidal silver it's important to use distilled water to avoid salts. This helps to prevent Argyria, a condition that could make you blue in rare cases. It's also important to get your silver from a reputable dealer. Silver generators can be purchased online. They most often work off of batters and ionize into water silently. This makes silver easy to use and an affordable product as well.

Precautions For Colloidal Silver

Some suppliers could be selling tainted silver. Be careful and purchase from reputable suppliers to avoid heavy metals like lead in your finished product. Also use silver in small amounts. Taking copious amounts of silver for extended time periods could make you turn blue, known as Argyria. Silver may also cause allergies in those allergic to nickel. As with all supplements consult your health care provider for medical advice and whether this supplement is right for you before starting or stopping any medications.
