What you'll need for the burger recipe for the best Fourth of July cookout yet:


1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 pound of ground beef
A pinch of:
Dill
Pepper
Oregano
Parsely
Ginger 
Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons ketchup
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup parmesan

How to make the burger recipe for your Fourth of July cookout:


  • Put breadcrumbs and milk into a large mixing bowl, mix lightly with a fork and let sit for 5 minutes until the milk has absorbed.
  • Mix in spices, parmesan, ketchup, and add meat.
  • Work the mixture until it just comes together, don't overwork it or the burgers will be tough.
  • Pat out patties to your desired size.
  • Press your thumb down in the center of each one for even cooking. 
  • Chill in the fridge for one hour.
  • Add a teaspoon of oil to a cold skillet, add the burgers and turn the heat up to medium-low. They will take around twenty minutes to cook to well done.
