Sausage and Grapes...Easy Dinner With Lots of Flavor
It might seem like an odd combination, sausage, and grapes but it isn't. This recipe actually was inspired by an Italian recipe, but this one is a little different. If you love grapes and you love smoke sausage then you've come to the right place. The dish is easy, cleanup is easy and you can add or include other ingredients to make this a full one pan dinner.
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees before beginning
What you'll need to make sausage and grapes:
- 1 smoked sausage or Polish kielbasa if you prefer to cut into bite-sized pieces. (2 sausages if you want to feed 4 people rather than two)
- 1/2 pound of grapes washed (this is for 2 people so a half pound for every two people you plan to feed)
- 1 teaspoon of good balsamic vinegar
- 1 medium-sized white potato for each person you plan on eating with you cut into bite-sized chunks
- A large sheet pan
- Aluminum foil large enough to cover your sheet pan
- A sharp knife
How to make sausage and grapes:
Combine all of your ingredients on the sheet pan and load it into the oven. Then wait for 20 to 30 min for a delicious dinner that is easily cleaned up in minutes. When this dish is done the sausage should be browned, the grapes should have burst, and the potatoes should be fork tender. All ovens cook differently so adjust cooking times accordingly and be sure to rotate your pan halfway through the cooking time if your oven tends to cook unevenly. That's it, enjoy.
Have a great day and we'll see you next time! :)
